California Fire Science Consortium Releases an Updated Website with Easier Access to Their Library of Resources
California Fire Science Consortium has released an updated website with a new design and layout that makes easier to search and browse through their many research briefs, webinar recordings, and bibliographies. The CFSC is a network of fire science researchers, managers, and outreach specialists tasked with improving science outreach and knowledge exchange between fire researchers, managers, policymakers, and private landowners.
The new website allows visitors to browse through 10 different topic pages that include all of our resources and relevant links on that subject across the whole state:
- Models and Tools, Climate Change, Fire Effects, Fuel Treatments, Fire Behavior, Fire History,Wildlife, Invasive Species, Policy and Social Science, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
Resources on the CFSC website are organized in the same five regional groups: Northern California, Sierra Nevada, Central and Southern CA,Mojave and Sonoran Deserts, and Wildland-Urban Interface.
